The Norborne Berkeley History Scholarship

The School of History, Philosophy, and Religion is pleased to announce The Norborne Berkeley Scholarship. This scholarship is a $3,000 annual award, renewable for up to a maximum of four years. The scholarship will be awarded to an Oregon resident and incoming history major on the Corvallis campus who has demonstrated high financial need and who is in the first generation of their family to attend a four-year college or university. Incoming freshmen and transfer students are both eligible. The School of History, Philosophy, and Religion anticipates that students who receive this scholarship will continue to receive it for four years (or less if the student is a transfer student), though the award is subject to annual departmental review of each student’s performance.
